Veterinary care startup Sploot opened its first clinic in Denver
Veterinary care startup Sploot opened its first clinic in Denver, with plans to open additional clinics in the area early next year.

Sploot, the technology-enabled veterinary startup that makes veterinary visits feel like a walk in the park, launched its first clinic in Denver, Colorado. Sploot is reimagining pet care by making veterinary care more accessible and seamless than ever.

Gil Bolotin and Yoav Mordowicz established Sploot after they personally experienced the stress of caring for an ill pet, coupled by the strain of unplanned bills.

“Being a parent today is a big — at times stressful — responsibility. When there’s something wrong with your pet that cannot wait, you want to be able to see someone right away. And you want this experience to be as easy and quick as possible. Sploot aims to be the go-to care partner for all your needs whenever you need it, whether it’s navigating high-stress situations or routine visits,” said Gil Bolotin, co-founder and co-CEO at Sploot.

Sploot combines high-quality veterinary care with a seamless customer experience. They do this by combining modern clinics, experienced medical teams, and cutting-edge technology. The company is focused on making visits to the veterinarian exceedingly convenient, acting as a one-stop-shop for urgent care, primary care, and more, offering a variety of appointment choices, including walk-ins, same-day appointments, and virtual, to meet the unique needs of each pet parent.

“We founded Sploot to provide pet parents and their furry family members with the next level of care. Our entire experience – in-clinic or digital – is designed with pet parents and their pets in mind. We aim to make the extraordinary the ordinary, transforming the veterinary experience into something more convenient and modern that pets and parents are really looking forward to,” said Yoav Mordowicz, co-founder and co-CEO at Sploot.

In addition, Sploot has a unique focus on fostering a friendly, healthy, and balanced culture for veterinary professionals such as veterinarians and veterinary technicians that allows them to thrive both in and out of the practice. Sploot feels that this will be effective in solving what is often a big pain point in the industry and help attract and retain top-tier talent.

Sploot, which recently raised $2.5 million in seed funding, plans to open additional locations in the next few months to address this increasing demand for veterinary services and meet the expectations of a new generation of pet parents who demand high-quality and easily accessible pet care.
