It was announced today that American software and technology company, MegaHoot Technologies, Inc, has launched their Student Community and Leadership Development initiative that will be community driven and create numerous opportunities for the students involved in the program.

We believe that leadership is a skill set that is learned and practiced; it’s relational and encompasses ethics, engagement and execution. Our vision for the Student Community and Leadership Development Program “SCLD” is to bring together driven and creative students with a passion for technology and a desire to change the world in their own way.

The student members will participate in group sessions with other technology passionate students from different areas of a city, country or the world. The more students that participate in the program the more opportunity of engagement with likeminded students from different cultures is possible. The program is without borders so students from The United States, India, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, South America, Canada, The United Kingdom, Europe and beyond are welcome to apply.

Diversity is a key element to the “SCLD”, so the program is open to any student, any where in the world that has true enthusiasm for technology and the advancement of it. They do not need to be coding experts, they do need to have a passion for technology and a desire to acquire leadership skills that can be of value to them as they progress through their academic life as well as transcend to their life in general.

Through this initiative we believe that students will be challenged to enhance their leadership skills, learn how to collaborate with others and develop their communication skill set with their peers.

The “SCLD” will primarily be a peer to peer system; this will allow students to be accountable for their growth as well as the growth of their teams. It is encouraged for students to align locally to create a solid base to build from but also to align with students regionally or globally to increase their diversity and leadership skills across different communities.  MegaHoot Technologies will provide mentorship and guidance during the lifespan of the program to ensure that each participant has the greatest opportunity of success with the program.

The program will span the course of a full school year and all students will have full student access to the suite of MegaHoot Technologies products to use to communicate with each other and the world. The students will have the ability to share their ideas and even have an influence on enhancements made to various MegaHoot platforms.

Students that successfully complete the program will receive the following:

• Certificate of Megahoot Technologies Student Community Leadership Development Program completion

• Certificate of rank designation of Blue, Purple, Brown or Black Belt holder

• Opportunity to advance to the MegaHoot Technologies Internship Program, which can lead to a full time career opportunity after graduation

• Opportunity to compete for various scholarship programs that will be available for the next academic year

• Additional perks that may be introduced randomly by MegaHoot Technologies partners during the course of the program, which will involve leadership challenges

** Although MegaHoot Technologies does not have any influence on this point, Students enrolled in the “SCLD” program will receive an enrollment letter that they may bring to the attention of their academic institution to inquire about possible College Credit upon completion of the program.

These are the only requirements for enrollment:

• Student of a University or College anywhere in the world

• Passion for Technology such as Blockchain Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Robotics and the overall betterment of our future

• Integrity, Drive and Commitment to others

Team Requirements:

• Minimum two local team members

• Minimum two regional or global team members
